This time it was a short stream, but we finally finished our Flux setup, we made it deploy the application into separate Kubernetes cluster namespaces, with separate configuration for each of the deployments. We also fixed the CI pipeline to account for both namespaces and tested it a little bit. And looks like we’re done with Kubernetes, at least for now. It seems to be working fine, I just need a bit more time off-stream to properly setup the servers, connect the apps to the Prometheus and Elastic, configure the databases and replication, and do some final testing. But it looks promising. If it goes smoothly, maybe I’d be able to migrate the production game server to this new setup next week.
