This time we finished the AGD Interactive remake of King’s Quest 1: Quest for the Crown, which was the third and the last version of the original King’s Quest game that I wanted to try out.
And it was fun, and nicely made. I appreciate the voiceover, the graphics were also great, the music was nice too… But I don’t know, I still prefer the original version from 1984. Yeah it didn’t have nice graphics, the music was just PC speaker beeps, and some aspects of the game were not obvious mainly because of the lack of the look around command. But for some reason, that specific version seemed like it had its own spirit if you will, it felt nice and complete.
Anyway, I’m glad that I tried all of these different versions and made my own opinion about them.
