On the this Gaming Friday stream we started a new game, The Secret of Monkey Island, a 1990 DOS point-and-click adventure game. But the version we’re playing is special, it’s the original DOS game, modded with the voiced dialogs from the remake. In addition to that, the MIDI setup that I have is pretty special too: I’m using Yamaha DGX-300, a 2002 piano keyboard synthesizer to output the game’s music. And it sounds amazing!
So the game was great so far. The story is interesting, it’s funny, the gameplay is pretty food too. We’ve almost finished the three trials to become a pirate, but I think I’m stuck on the drugging the dogs task. We’ll try to figure it out and continue the playthrough next Friday.
