[2024-04-05] Dreamfall: The Longest Journey — Part 2

Duration: 5:58:44

This time was Gaming Friday, which means we’re back to our Dreamfall: The Longest Journey playthrough. And looks like the story is picking up some real momentum. It’s hard to keep track of everything that’s happening, but I’ll give it a try. So…

Looks like The Journeyman Inn is the only place in Marcuria that left unchanged, the city’s been under Azadi occupation for the past 10 years and apparently they’re forcing their religion and racism towards the magic people onto Marcurians. Which is not cool, not cool at all. They’re also building some huge tower in Marcuria right over some big source of magic (as I understood) in Marcuria dungeons.

April has changed a lot over the years. Apparently she cannot shift anymore and wants nothing to do with Stark, she fights her own war here in Arcadia.

For some reason we briefly played as an Azadi assassin Kian, who departed on the mission given to him to kill the rebel leader in Marcurial, Scorpion (hopefully that’s not one of April’s nicknames).

Meantime Zoë is doing some real secret agent stuff back in Stark. Following Reza’s trace, she infiltrated into highly guarded headquarters of a huge company, found one of the Reza’s contacts, found out about the huge conspiracy she got involved into, and discovered some disturbing things in there. Very disturbing.

While April now needs to find a way to speak with the Guardian to see what’s going on with the balance. And looks like only her sister, The White of the Kin, can help her to find him. So, tune in next Friday, hopefully we’ll find out more.
