This time we played through Journey on stream and oh boy what an amazing experience that was. Beautiful visuals, sound, story, gameplay… Every aspect of the game is harmoniously interwoven together and it just feels amazing. I enjoyed every moment of it.
I believe we managed to complete 100% of the content and even found all easter eggs. But we still have a few achievements left to unlock. Especially the multiplayer ones (for some reason I didn’t meet anyone throughout my journey). So probably we’ll come back to this game later.
Also, this was my first PS4 capture stream and looks like it worked out nicely. Especially considering that I don’t have a pass-through capture card, I’m using Elgato Cam Link and outputting the image on my PC’s monitor via OBS full screen projection and the sound via OBS monitoring. There is a very slight input delay, but it’s not noticeable in game at all. I can definitely play much more dynamic games like this with no problem. So we’re definitely going to play more PS4 games in the future.
