This time we finally finished Duke Nukem 3D: Atomic Edition! 🎉
The final boss level was weird, especially when you figure out that it’s (spoiler) symmetrical even down to the puzzles and enemy spawns and you have to do everything twice. And the boss was a little bit underwhelming imo. I initially thought I softlocked myself by using my scuba gear before the boss room, but that’s not the case, you can pretty much cheese the whole boss room by hiding in the "breathing hole" from everything/everyone and ignoring every monster but the boss.
But the game was very fun. Great dynamic, interesting enemies, nice feeling weapons. Some puzzles were not that obvious to figure out (or maybe it’s just me being a noob), but some other (like combination locks) were just annoying.
I definitely didn’t 100% it, I missed a lot of secrets and unlocked only one of the secret levels. Some secrets are impossible to find unless you accidently stumble upon them, but that’s totally normal. Also I should've used the night vision goggles a lot more.
Overall, good game, can recommend. 👍
